Pakistan Kissan Trust has a three tier planning, policy-making and decision-making structure.
Advisory committee: Two members (male and female) from each district are member of the advisory committee. Selection of these members done on democratic basis within their respective districts.
Board of Directors: Comprised of representatives of farmers groups, networks and those individuals having demonstrated and respectable contribution for the farmer’s community. These member elects from member committees, GKT and other partner networks and movements. The board of directors elect office bearers for two years term:
Management Core Group: Comprised of Director, Managers and senior staff of the Trust.
Regular review and Audits: PKT believes on transparency and accountability to its members and general public. It has an institutionalized process of internal monitoring, management and governance oversights by the board and its committees. It also organizes regular monitoring and review exercises and results are made public and discussed in members forums.

The Trust has an open and pro-farmer membership criteria and process. Any farmer or peasants, regardless of gender, religious, ethnic or national affiliation, can become member of the Trust.
